Your body and brain make love to each other when you dare to create –– excited neurons firing like crazy passion when you dance, sing, write, act, sculpt, paint, express your own vision, however strange or transgressive it may seem.
Of course you can! I heard you out there Oh, but I can’t. Who told you that? You’re human, therefore gifted with creativity. My father died broke in 2007, an early casualty of the Great Recession. Besides his love, he left me a memoir fragment. I treasure the tiny sparkling window into his childhood in remote 1930’s Montana. This old farmer in his later years had aspired to be a writer, and he’d begun to do it. What’s stopping you?
Creative expression is good for your health, good for your brain. You don’t need a prescription. I’m happy to help you lure your creative impulses out to play from whatever doubt cave hides them (see my Soul Painting page). Trust yourself that your intuitive, creative vision is a treasure that only you can express.
You have a rare opportunity to give your creative vision a boost here in Bend on March 14th and 15th when Karen Grace Kassy presents Intuition for Everyone, Career, Health, and Relationship Intuition. This is her only workshop in Central Oregon for 2014. Go to [email protected] to learn more.
And keep your creativity freely flowing through the practice of Qigong (“chee-kung”). In honor of Valentine’s Day, bring your sweetie or your best friend for my Beginners’ Qigong Workshop, on either Thursday, February 13th or Saturday, February 15th, 10AM to 4PM. $110 for one person, and half-price for the second. Call 541.390.9652 or email for details.
In deepest gratitude for the creative passion shared with us by Philip Seymour Hoffman (7/23/1967 – 2/2/2014).
